Doug Reed
Owner

Raised in Whitefish circa 1977, Doug started his adventure at Whitefish Lake Restaurant in 1987. In this time he has filled almost every position from busser to bartender, and manager to owner. A University of Colorado graduate in 1991, he has worked under local restaurant icons to get where he is today.

Doug’s wife Nikki is a Whitefish High School teacher. He has two kids: daughter Kendall and son Townsend.

Vicki Hill
General Manager

Vicki started her career at Whitefish Lake Restaurant in 1987 as a cocktail server. A seasonal employee at both the Hellroaring Saloon and the Golf Club, she quickly worked her way up the ladder. Today she is the friendly, familiar face greeting you in our Dining Room.

Vicki has two sons: Dallas and Dylan. She has a background in dance and fitness. Vicki graduated with a BS Degree from the University of Utah.

Dan Crumbaker
Executive Chef

Dan has been the Executive Chef at Whitefish Lake Restaurant since 1993. Raised in Grand Junction, Colorado he has been in kitchens since 1983. A graduate of Portland Culinary School, Dan values his work, family and friends.

An exceptional skier and golfer, he enjoys a Bud Light and a shot of Patron after a hard day at work.

Mike Barrett
Sous Chef

Mike has been at Whitefish Lake Restaurant since 1998. He moved from Utah, where he was previously a chef. Raised in Vermont, he has worked in kitchens since the tender age of 13. He always wanted to follow after his father, a chef for 25 years.

Mike alway loves to ski, fish, bike, hike or just enjoy a cold beer. His lovely wife Dara has been one of our exceptional WLR servers since 2000.
